Our Flyscreen Range
Our flyscreens are highly effective in keeping out a range of flying and crawling insects. Each flyscreen is bespoke and designed perfectly to fit your requirements, whether that be windows or doors. We utilise Fibreglass Mesh as standard with a range of other mesh options availble for individual needs.
Please note, the Australian Building Code has put restrictions on multi-level windows to protect children’s safety. Our flyscreens are only suitable for use on upper level windows if there is a restrictor in place or if the window leads out into an enclosed space such as a balcony.
Mesh Options
Fibreglass mesh is our most popular option, with the highest standards of durability preventing creasing, denting and unravelling. Fibreglass mesh is designed to keep out insects and bugs, offering a resilient product life cycle.
Fibreglass mesh is not recommended for bush-fire prone areas.
Mesh: 18 x 14 strands/inch
Diameter: 0.28mm
Midge mesh, also known as sand-fly mesh, offers the best protection against the tiniest pests such as midges or sandflies found in wetland areas. This mesh keeps the tiniest insects out, helping to keep your home pest-free.
Please note this mesh is not suitable for bushfire prone areas.

Diameter: 0.33mm
Our paw-proof mesh offers a stronger alternative mesh to traditional fibreglass. It’s tear-resistant, helping to avoid damage from children or pets so you can be confident of consistent protection without compromise.
Mesh: 11 x 15 strands/inch
Diameter: 0.64mm
Choose Cyclone’s aluminium mesh option for robust security and real longevity. A cutting-edge sophisticated weaving technology ensures uniformity and accuracy, while a high-quality ESD (Electrostatic Deposition) coating delivers exceptional durability and lifespan with a fine finish.
Aluminium mesh is suitable up to and including BAL 29 rating.

The 316 Stainless flyscreen is perfect for places prone to bushfires because it has a BAL-FZ grade.
